Juan Camilo Briceño is the Financial Manager (CFO) of ACEBRI, a Colombian company specializing in transforming recycled PET into sustainable industrial products and circular solutions. He has been involved in ACEBRI since its foundation in 2007, contributing to its financial strategy, international growth, investment decisions and development of new business opportunities in plastics recycling. With more than 15 years of experience in the plastics industry, his work combines finance, manufacturing, recycling technologies and international business, with a focus on developing commercially viable circular solutions. In 2025, he was a panelist at the inaugural PolyNext Awards & Conference in Dubai, where he also received the “Excellence in Plastic Industry Leaders – Financial Leadership for Circular Economy” award. In 2026, he was a speaker at IPPE, the largest poultry and feed industry event in the United States, leading an IPPE TechTalk on the benefits of rPET compared with carton for egg packaging. His international experience also includes K Fair, CHINAPLAS and NPE, where he has engaged with global technology providers and industry leaders. He holds an MBA with international studies in Strategic Leadership, a specialization in Financial Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He has also studied plastics manufacturing and Mandarin Chinese in Beijing. He speaks Spanish, has professional proficiency in English, and speaks Mandarin Chinese after living and studying in China, giving him first-hand experience of the Chinese market and culture.
