Dr. Viveka Kalidasan is a visionary technopreneur recognised as one of MIT 35 Innovators Under 35, Singapore’s Top 100 Women in Technology, and an NUS Outstanding Young Alumni. She is the Founder and CEO of River Ventures, the world’s first Industry 5.0–focused deep-tech ecosystem- venture builder and accelerator, funded and backed by Enterprise Singapore. She is also the Managing Director of Fischer Medical Ventures International; Founder and Chairperson of Safe Space Collective for Women Trailblazers; Founder of River Transformation Hub; serves on the Board of Directors of the Singapore South Asia Chamber of Commerce & Industries (SSACCI) and is a Board of Trustees of Bridge Institute. Prior to River Ventures, Dr Viveka had built and scaled Singapore’s first industry 4.0 focused accelerator, LetLab. An inventor with globally filed patents and landmark scientific publications, including work featured in Nature Biomedical Engineering, Dr. Viveka operates at the intersection of deep tech, venture creation, and ecosystem design. She leads global initiatives across advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, robotics, automation, and digital transformation, with a strong emphasis on human-centric, sustainable, and inclusive innovation. Through River Ventures, she builds and scales frontier technology companies, structures venture programs and funds, and accelerates deep-tech commercialisation across global markets. Beyond venture building, she is a pioneering Industry 5.0 ecosystem architect, actively bridging policy, industry, startups, academia, and investors to drive innovation at scale and shape resilient future industries and commercialization at scale, across the globe.
