Tariq Rashid Alsuwaidi

Economy and Tourism and Secretary-General of the UAE Circular Economy Council.
He leads work on circular economy policy, green growth and national economic
clusters, bringing government entities, businesses and international partners together to
translate national priorities into practical initiatives.
His work includes coordinating the Council and advancing policies related to
sustainable production, resource efficiency, recycling, circular logistics, green
procurement and the participation of small and medium-sized enterprises. He also
supports evidence-based economic policymaking through economic analysis, strategic
studies and data-driven assessment of emerging sectors.
Tariq holds a Master of Business Analytics from the University of Wollongong in Dubai,
and a Master of Economic Studies from the University of New England in Australia. He
has also completed the Leading Economic Growth program at Harvard Kennedy
School, and the Public Sector Innovation Diploma at Cambridge Judge Business
School.
