Naeem H. Mady

With over 50 years of professional experience in analytical chemistry and regulatory compliance for government agencies, Mr. Naeem Mady has been the Vice President of Regulatory Market Access at Intertek since 2010, Vice President of Regulatory Services at Ciba Expert Services from 1996-2010, and Manager of Analytical Research for Ciba-Geigy from 1980 to 1996. As Vice President of Regulatory Market Access at Intertek, Mr. Mady leads a team of technical professionals responsible for providing counsel on worldwide chemical regulations, global food contact substance regulatory compliance, and recycling supply chain management. Prior to Intertek, Mr. Mady's previous business experiences include working as a Manager of Analytical and Technical Services at Phillip Morris and as a Senior Analytical Chemist at Allied Signal.   Mr. Mady has published and presented several papers in the field of Analytical Chemistry and Regulatory Compliance. He is the co-author of the Regulatory Aspects Section in the Plastic Additives handbook, and the ACS book “Symposium Series, Food Additives and Packaging”. He has also written numerous articles in Management and Quality Systems newsletters. Honors have included invitations to speak at regulatory conferences sponsored by organizations such as The American Chemical Society, The American Chemical Council, The Society of Plastics Engineers, The Society of Plastics Industry, and GPEC, to provide expertise in the areas of food contact compliance and the notification of new substances. Mr. Mady’s professional affiliations include 50 years of membership with The American Chemical Society, Plastics Industries Association, The American Association for the Advancement of Science, and The Society of Plastics Engineering. On October 19, 2017, Mr. Mady was included in Marquis Who’s Who® in America.
