Joshua Cheng Xi Han is the Founder and CEO of LUMI (Lifestyle Unified Metrics Interface), a Singapore-based AI startup building a unified life dashboard for the way people actually live. An undergraduate at Nanyang Technological University, Joshua taught himself full-stack development and built LUMI's original MVP solo — designing the interface, integrating the AI layer, and running an eight-week behaviour-change study with NTU participants alongside a full course load. He now leads a small engineering team preparing LUMI for public launch. His approach draws on a systems-thinking background in engineering, applying it to a question he thinks technology has largely ignored: not how to optimise one metric, but how to see a life whole.
