Sheena Nasim is an AI Field CTO for Asia Pacific & Japan at Snowflake, where she partners with enterprises across the region to design and deploy production-grade Al solutions. With over a decade of experience spanning Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Robotics, and Generative Al, Sheena brings a rare blend of hands-on research and real-world enterprise impact.
Her career in Al began at Sumitomo Electric Industries in Japan, where she led core research in Al and Robotics for automotive manufacturing - building smart factory systems using deep learning, predictive analytics, and robotic automation. She went on to serve as Computer Vision SME at Accenture Al, where her work included PROJECT: CORAIL, an Al-powered underwater camera system for coral reef restoration that was featured in Forbes. Most recently before Snowflake, she was the Deep Learning SME for the APAC Solutions Engineering team at Dataiku.
Today, Sheena's focus is on Agentic Al and large-scale ML architecture - helping organisations move beyond Al experimentation into governed, production-ready intelligent systems. She is a regular speaker at global conferences including PyCon and Snowflake World Tour, a guest lecturer at the National University of Singapore's School of Engineering, and the Singapore Ambassador for Women in Data Science (WiDS). She also mentors in graduate women-in-tech programmes at both NUS and NTU.
