Marylin Montoya is the Founder and CEO of Regumint, a French AI startup building legal reasoning infrastructure for regulated practice across the European Union. Her path into legal AI runs through a decade of building and scaling B2B SaaS companies in Europe. She was part of a founding team and served as CMO through two acquisitions. This experience gave her a particular kind of fluency: the ability to map complex markets, identify where existing tools fail users at a structural level, and design solutions that hold up under real operational pressure. When she left to build independently, she looked at where AI could create genuine, durable value in Europe and found it in regulated law. Not as an automation shortcut, but as a reasoning problem that existing tools were solving the wrong way. Regumint is her answer to that: a platform designed from the ground up around how EU law actually works, not how general-purpose AI happens to handle it. In parallel, she works with organizations in highly regulated sectors, including healthcare, on the deployment of AI systems in environments where reliability and compliance are critical. Marylin operates at the intersection of legal domain complexity and technical architecture, and her ability to move fluently between the two is what drives Regumint’s product design. She holds degrees from Cornell University and HEC Paris, and is completing an Executive Education program in Strategy and Innovation at MIT Sloan.
