Mert studied Physics and Symbolic Systems at Stanford University before pursuing doctoral research in quantum physics at the University of Oxford. At Icosa, he has led collaborations with NASA, Toshiba, Fujitsu, and NEC, translating principles from quantum systems into practical AI technologies deployed across industries from finance to law.
