As CEO of SubVerse AI, Sandeep Uthra is redefining human–machine interaction through advanced agentic and conversational AI. Prior to SubVerse AI, Sandeep served as Chief Technology Officer at OneAZ Credit Union. Going far beyond traditional IT, he architected the organization’s digital transformation and shaped its longterm technology vision, positioning OneAZ as a leader in the rapidly evolving financial services sector. He previously served as EVP & CIO at Capital Bank and as CIO at Truliant Federal Credit Union, where he led major technology modernizations that enhanced customer experience and operational performance across both organizations. He also spent more than a decade at Bank of America supporting technology modernization, rationalization, and M&A activities. With more than two decades of experience driving innovation in financial services, Sandeep has established himself as a visionary leader who combines deep industry expertise with a passion for emerging technologies. His strategic focus on elevating consumer experiences and accelerating organizational growth has consistently delivered impactful results. This forward-looking approach has earned him national and international recognition. In 2025 he was named FinTech AI Champion of the Year and received the Global Leadership Institute Award. He was also a finalist for the Arizona CIO ORBIE Award and the Arizona Technology Council’s Transformational Leadership Award. Additional honors include being named one of USA Today’s “CTOs to Watch” in 2024 and receiving ORBIE Awards from the Capital CIO Leadership Association (2022) and the Charlotte CIO Leadership Association (2019). Beyond his executive roles, Sandeep actively contributes to the technology ecosystem as a member of the Forbes Technology Council. He serves on the Arizona Technology Council and the Metal Blockchain Advisory Council, and he supports the development of future leaders as a member of the Advisory Board for Wake Forest University’s Master of Science in Business Analytics program.
