Talal Mohamed Akeil Wishah

Talal Akeil is a result-oriented executive with +30 years of experience & a reliable network in Investment, Finance & Real Estate Sectors in MENA. He helps businesses achieve more by developing profitable, sustainable & scalable work systems. Talal serves as Director of Direct Investment at the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment & Development, where he leads the deployment of USD 1.1B in investments and drives investment sourcing across 22 countries. He also builds strategic partnerships to advance regional food security and contributed to launching the first Arab food security fund & index. Before this role, he was Deputy Chief Executive Officer at NAEEM Holding, a leading investment group listed in UAE & Misr with +280 employees, and a capital of USD 200M. He also serves as Vice Chairman of Etihad Capital for Investments, a private joint stock company in UAE, which Talal collaborated to raise its capital from AED 50M to 250M. Talal’s experience, knowledge & reliable network with business partners and financial market regulators enable him to support all the businesses he is a part of. Talal started his career as an Accountant in 1992 and was elevated to Executive Positions with a proven record of success. Talal earned his MA in Financial Markets from the Stock Market Studies Institute (IEB), Spain in 2022 and his BA in Accounting from Beirut Arab University (BAU) in 1992.
